Come play with us at our open rehearsals!

Are you a student with a passion for music? The the Nijmegen Student Orchestra is the perfect place for you! The next open rehearsals will be on the 9th and 16th of January 2025. That semester, we will be playing Poulenc's Sinfonietta, Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2, and Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin.

Our rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at Wijkcentrum Burghardt, Burghardt van den Berghstraat 112-114 in Nijmegen.

To be able to play, there must of course be a spot for your instrument in the orchestra. You can read herewhich instruments currently have openings. On this page, you will also find more information about auditions for the orchestra.

While students have priority, you don't have to be a student to join us. Simply sign up below, and we'll invite you to an open rehearsal. We hold open rehearsals twice a year, in September and January, where you can join us and play without any obligations.

The membership fee is €140,49 per year for students and €242,85 per year for working members. By becoming a member, you agree to the personal data statement (Dutch only).
