Come play with us at our open rehearsals!
Are you a student with a passion for music? Then the Nijmegen Student Orchestra is the perfect place for you! The next open rehearsals will be in January 2026. During that semester, we will be performing Brahms' Fourth Symphony and Dvorak's Cello Concerto.
Our rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at Wijkcentrum Burghardt, Burghardt van den Berghstraat 112-114 in Nijmegen.
To be able to play, there must of course be a spot for your instrument in the orchestra. You can read herewhich instruments currently have openings. On this page, you will also find more information about auditions for the orchestra.
While students have priority, you don't have to be a student to join us. Simply sign up below, and we'll invite you to an open rehearsal. We hold open rehearsals twice a year, in September and January, during which you can join us and play without any obligations.
The membership fee is €140,49 per year for students and €242,85 per year for working members. By becoming a member, you agree to the personal data statement (Dutch only).
